Debra, I just wanted to write to thank you so much for my new saddle. It is exactly what your website promised in that it is close contact, balanced and very comfortable. I wasn't sure how I would like the "endurance" look to it but when I pulled it out of the box my husband commented that it was beautiful and that he wouldn't mind having one for himself. I agree with him.
I'm so glad that we took the time to try out different trees and then went with the custom made tree. It actually fits both of my young horses very well. As soon as the funds come around I plan to order the second one.
This is the culmination of a two year search for a western saddle for my young horses that I could feel confident in knowing that the saddle really fit them. Your website is so informative (especially the back map) and your personal attention to customer service is so refreshing. I will definitely do business with you guys again! Thanks again, Renee M.
Crest Ridge Saddlery, specifically the owner, Debra Racheter, has extended my horse's riding career by considerable years and improved his performance. Her ability to recognize painful saddle fits and provide the correct fit with her 'to-fit' tree'd saddles has done wonders for Blazing Heart (Charlie). We ride six days a week. We do extensive trails at the stables and ride Midwest Trails, Brown County, Hocking Hills, Shawnee, local Indiana trails and will add Big South Fork to our list this year. We train formally two times a week. In addition to this we have participated, for the first time, in four shows this year, the highest show was the Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse Association 10th Annual International Grand Championship (our proudest event was 4th in Adult Western on a slightly tricked out Crest Ridge Sentry saddle which we also use for trail riding-Crest Ridge also built us a matching show headstall and stirrups). I list all this to just give the feel of how much wear and pain a poor fitting saddle could have caused and probably how quickly Charlie could have been done in. And also to show just how helpful Crest Ridge Saddlery is! Thanks Debra and Crest Ridge Saddlery, Charlie & Allen.
Maggie and her new Crest Ridge Crusade Lite saddle. Thanks to Debra of Crest Ridge for getting a perfect fit! Can tell a difference in her carriage already.
