So how does the Crest Ridge Saddlery® Clinic work? You host the clinic, offering the opportunity to the people in your area to have their current needs for saddle fitting addressed, we need a minimum of 8- 10 horse consultations for a one-day clinic. Crest Ridge Saddlery® Clinician will critique each horse for the horse's anatomy, measure horse & rider, assess the saddle fit for rider and horse, and explore fitting concerns. During the consultation clients are encouraged to voice any saddle fit issues they have for their horse and for themselves, and to be open to discuss what is available or feasible with respect to making their current saddle fit.

The saddle fitting clinics are just in the "birth process"! The intention is to allow people the opportunity to have their horses critiqued for what each horses individual needs for a well fitted saddle. The riders needs and issues would be also part of the critique. We will help each participant to insure that they can use there current saddle and/or if one of our models would solve any issues they may have. Of course we expect to sell saddles through this process, but if we can help them make THEIR CURRENT saddle work, WE WILL! Crest Ridge Saddlery® Clinics focus on how to place and secure a saddle without causing pain for the horse. We will discuss horse anatomy, proper saddle fit, saddle padding and how a riders position in the saddle can affect saddle fit on a horse.  Crest Ridge Saddlery® seminars are fun, educational, and do not include any sales pitch pressure. As of now we are anticipating having clinics available in Jan, Feb, July, Aug, & Dec.

A Crest Ridge Saddlery® Clinic Coordinator hosts the clinic and schedules each 45 minute session for rider and horse to have a personal consultation with a Crest Ridge Saddlery® Clinician/Consultant . Each Session will include analysis and measurement of the horse (up to 3 saddles per horse) and instruction/education of the client. A $100 consultation fee per horse is charged (pre-paid at least 30 days in advance) to address concerns on re-fits, repairs, new and used saddle appointments, and warranty matters. The consultation fee paid will be discounted from the purchase price of any saddle they choose to purchase from Crest Ridge Saddlery®. The consultation fee covers the clinician's professional expertise and time as well as the travel and shipping expense to come to visit client and horse at a local venue. It does not include accommodation fees for the clinician, those have to be arraigned and paid for by the host/Crest Ridge Saddlery® Clinic Coordinator. Minimum number consultations needed per clinic will be based on the expected travel expenses.

Crest Ridge Saddlery® will provide you with all of the promotional materials you will need to “spread the word” to riders in your area. This includes:

                              E-mail notices

                              Posters to hang in barns, and info sheets to hand out to riders providing details of your clinic

                              A daily schedule to help you organize the consultations on the day of the clinic

                              Contacts from our database of clients in your immediate vicinity. (this is still building so would be rather sparse at this time)

You will:
Provide Crest Ridge Saddlery® with a list of what each client would like done during their consultation –a  re-fit / adjustment of their current saddle / look at new or pre-owned saddles/  minor repairs.
Meet the Crest Ridge Saddlery® Clinician at a specified location and provide transportation or directions to the barn/location.

Crest Ridge Saddlery® will compensate you as Clinic Coordinator for helping us organize the clinic. As a Crest Ridge Saddlery® Clinic Coordinator you will receive $25 value Crest Ridge Saddlery® coupon for every client who purchases a saddle from a fitting consultation at your clinic. This can add up to between $200 and $350 per day, and this you can keep on account with Crest Ridge Saddlery® and can be used for future purchases of Crest Ridge Saddlery® products or services.
