To build a personalized saddle call or e-mail Debra who will work through all of the details with you. She begins by having you measure your horse to determine the saddle tree bars and seat size that fits best.  Then the real fun begins!

Our Amish master craftsmen, Debra's years of saddle making experience and your imagination are combined to make your dream saddle a reality.  Working together your saddle can be built in virtually any style.  Among the features we can personalize to your desires are:

• Style:  Western, Plantation, Endurance or a combination.

• Rigging:  Western, Sam Staggs, English, center-fire, or a combination along with custom placement of the rigging rings.

• Seat style:  SupraCor, suede, slick, Cheyenne rolls, bucking rolls, pommel style, cantle style, full seats, and 3/4 seats.

• Skirts:  Western, Plantation, leather, synthetic. 

• Fenders: leather, synthetic, English stirrup leathers, California fenders.

• Stirrups:  Western, endurance, tapaderos, English and Monkey Nose.

• Leather work:  braiding, tooling, custom pouches and bags, stitching.

The personalized High Prairie gaited horse saddle to the left was made through a process of repeated customer interaction.  It features the historic Sam Staggs rigging, a braided hold back over the swell, engraved steel rigging and a cantle pouch.  This saddle is truly a piece of art created by our Amish master saddle builder.

Production time will vary with the complexity of your design, modifications made during the building process and our overall workload.

There are a few limitations to the type of saddles we can build.  We do not build English, treeless or flex tree saddles.  We will not build a saddle we believe not to be safe--some bar, cantle, pommel and seat size combinations do not provide the structural strength required for a safe saddle.

Personalized saddles are not returnable, which is one of the reasons we emphasize saddle fitting at the beginning of the process.

The price for any personalized saddle will be determined after we have a good understanding of what your desires are for the new saddle.  Payment in full is required before we begin to build your personalized saddle.

Above is a Sonata lightweight synthetic gaited horse saddle built on a Wade tree to fit this Missouri Fox Trotter's shape and the rider's need for a lightweight saddle for endurance riding.	Above is a Sonata lightweight synthetic horse saddle built with English rigging and stirrup leathers.  It weighs only 18 pounds making it ideal for weight conscious endurance riders or those who have difficulty lifting a heavy saddle.	Above is a Sentry Western gaited horse saddle that has Plantation style fenders and stirrup leathers.  Additionally, the rigging was modified, moving it back from the normal position on a Sentry saddle.
