 Our Crusade Lite Sport Series all come standard with a double memory foam padded burst pattern seat. (Usually a $75.00 upgrade in the standard Crusade Lite). This seat is only surpassed in comfort by the seat standard in our Elite Series saddle.

Crest Ridge saddlery remains the most durable synthetic saddle on the market.

The Sonata SR06 Draft Series Crest Ridge synthetic saddle features front hanging dee rigging, the most durable available. Which means the rigging in this saddle is attached DIRECTLY to the tree, not to the fabric. Hanging dee rigging consists of one piece of leather wrapped around the dee, both loose ends attached directly to the tree with screws and reinforced with copper rivets. In-skirt rigging is inferior because all that holds the rigging is 2 or 3 copper rivets attached to 2 or 3 layers of Cordura, sewn into place. Wouldn't you rather know the tree is holding your saddle in place, rather than a piece or 2 of  Cordura fabric? 

The Crusade Lite Sport Series saddle has not only Cordura (1000 denier) fenders, it has leather reinforced Cordura fenders to strengthen and prevent the holes in the length adjusters from stretching.
Rim seat standard, as well as the roll under swell, adding a sporty and sophisticated look all at once. 

The Crusade Lite Sport Series provides a light-weight, economical alternative to our traditional leather saddles. No compromises of quality were made in the construction of these saddles. With its superb balance and comfortable, slightly deeper seat the Crusade Lite Sport saddle is ideal for trails and endurance riding or everyday pleasure riding. Recessed stirrups prevent bulk under the leg and allow a more natural line from hip to heel. The Crusade Lite Sport features fine quality leather and a 3.75" Cantle rise for comfort during long days in the saddle. The saddle also features multiple Rings for convenience. All hardware is stainless steel.

BROWN
Features a Crest Ridge resin with wood insert tree. This gives the owner the advantage of a light-weight durable tree with uncompromised strength. The insert resin tree overcomes the disadvantage of most resin trees. In a full resin tree there is a chance that the screws will strip out over a period of time. The wood inserts allow for the same structural integrity that a regular wooden tree does, while allowing the weight to be reduced. The screws in our resin trees WILL stay in place. 

The Crusade Lite Sport Series saddle allows your horse's shoulders to move freely without any pressure or pinching. In addition the solid tree distributes your weight across the broad area of your horse's back muscles preventing uneven pressure and allowing the horse to USE his back correctly to perform the signature gait of his breed.

Made with the top quality full grain 10 oz leather, 100% handcrafted and stitched with care.

To prevent elbow chaffing on your horse our rigging in this saddle is set at 7/8 Hanging Dee on the front, and Drop Rigging on the back. Hanging Dee rigging is the most durable for trail riding because the dee hangs and both ends of leather are fastened directly to the tree. Each saddle has Blevins Buckles, Leather Near-Side and Off-Side Billets, and Stainless Steel Hardware. With both rings connected to the tree, it can be V-rigged or center rigged at any time. Also accommodates the use of our SupraCinch very well. 
Stirrups, Endurance Stirrups, trail stirrups, saddle stirrups, quality stirrups, leather stirrups, light weight stirrups, western stirrups, trail riding stirrups, show stirrups,

Leather wrapped aluminum bell stirrups are standard. 
Double lined with drum dyed leather and double sewn with waxed nylon thread.

Weight is 29 ounces for the pair.

 REAL BLEVINS BUCKLES!
The Crusade Lite Sport comes with a Deep Padded Seat. These 15, 16, & 17 inch saddles are built with a Fairway swell front (9.5” wide) on it and a medium height cantle (3.75 inch) High Cantle allows for closer contact, which allows for a better harmony between equine and rider. The Crusade Lite Sport is made just like the Crusade and Crusade Lite, as there is no extra leather on the bars to allow for a close contact saddle with a lighter weight.

We are offering this saddle with the understanding that there can be 6-8 weeks pass before you RECEIVE your handmade saddle. So the BAD news is there will be a slight delay in receiving your saddle. These saddles are designed for use on the trail and recreational riding and are not in any way guaranteed for roping or any other purpose that varies from the original design intent. This warranty does not apply to any defects caused by negligence, misuse, alteration, abuse or accidents.

Crest Ridge Saddlery ® will repair or replace, at it's sole discretion, any product found to be defective by the company, for use as intended, after return to, and examination by, the company. The sole remedy under the warranty or under any implied warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts.
