Our Regular Tree will require 11.25 inch or less measurement in order to insure a proper fit. Our Wide Wide will require 11.25 -12.25 inch measurement in order to insure a proper fit. | Here is quick explanation on how to measure...Get
a coat hanger, straighten it out, cut it 16 inches. Now on the wire measure
8 inches and make a mark there with a magic marker. Then where the 8 mark
is bend it over your horses wither so that the 8 inch mark is on top and
bend downward so that the wire is right where you saddle would be, Make
sure all of the wire is touching your animals back. Now then remove the
wire. Measure the distance straight across, between the 2 ends. This is
the measurement you need to send us!

is a Beautiful Hand Crafted Steer Hide Endurance Style Trail Saddle that

The Crusade is an excellent choice for the endurance or trail rider looking for reliable and attractive equipment. Both saddle and accessories feature top quality leather and innovative design. With its superb balance and comfortable, slightly deeper seat the Crusade endurance saddle is ideal for trails and endurance riding or everyday pleasure riding. Recessed stirrups prevent bulk under the leg and allow a more natural line from hip to heel. The Crusade features fine quality leather and a 3.75" Cantle rise for comfort during long days in the saddle. The saddle also features multiple Rings for convenience. Made with the top quality leather, 100% handcrafted and stitched with care. To prevent elbow chaffing on your horse our rigging in this saddle is set at ¾ Hanging Dee on the front, and Drop Rigging on the back. Hanging Dee rigging is the most durable for trail riding because the dee hangs and both ends of leather are fastened directly to the tree. Each saddle has Blevins Buckles, Leather Near-Side and Off-Side Billets, and Stainless Steel Hardware. "This One Fits" and is guaranteed to do so. This steer-hide saddle is hand made in Trenton, Georgia and will last a life time if you simply keep it oiled. |

 The Crusade comes with EXTRA Long tie strings made from the finest latigo leathers available (cut from the backs of hides to give the best strength and resistance to stretching). Firm feel, yet are supple to work with. Good lacing weight and durable. Enough to hold your bed roll, slicker or just about anything and still have plenty of room to tie securely and more to spare!

The rigging is hanging
dee, (a Dee suspended on a 1/8 inch piece of leather and both ends attach
directly to the tree) which is by far more sturdy that inskirt rigging
that simply attaches to leather in the skirt. The rigging is set at 7/8
to prevent galling OR with the drop rigging in the rear you can also V
Rig it to position the cinch from 7/8 to 5/8 if needed. We have emailing
instruction as to how to do this if you happen to be purchaser!
